Writer Rosalind Mitchell has taken up running.

Whilst one would never ask a lady to divulge her age, Rosie herself declared surprise at facing her first competitive race with, might one say, more life experience than many of the other runners.

Rosie was looking for a charity to support and came across Bag Books.  On completing the course on a brisk November Sunday, said Rosie, "Towards the end I could cheerfully have curled up and died. Would I do it again? Definitely."
